Snugglebugs is a very small Irish business based in Naas, Co. Kildare and run by Tricia and Meabh, who met through their babies and became firm friends through their love of babywearing.
They were passionate about spreading the love of safe babywearing in Ireland and had a dream of making babywearing as accessible as possible for parents of young babies.
They took extensive training with Trageschule UK, Trageschule Dresden, Slingababy and Je Porte Mom Bebe and are among the most highly trained babywearing consultants in Ireland today.
Snugglebugs is open twice weekly Thursday and Saturday 11-2pm, during these hours we offer free demonstrations and parents are welcome to try on slings & seek advice.
We also offer private sling lessons (or consultations) which can be booked in advance. Prior to the lesson the client will fill out a very short online form which will allow us to plan the consultation and ensure that we tailor the lesson to the needs and requirements of each individual client. Private lessons can be booked here www.snugglebugs.ie/bookings/
We also run a number of workshops per month, these are a really lovely way of obtaining in-depth knowledge of a particular sling, for example, a workshop would teach you how to use a ring sling with confidence, or master back carries in a buckle carrier or a mei tai. Or perhaps you are new to using woven wraps and would like to learn how to use them. One of our most popular workshops is our ͚stretchy wrap͛ workshop. Ideal for new babies and lots of mum͛s attend this workshop, in particular, to learn how to feed their baby while in the stretchy wrap.
We have a lovely range of slings at Snugglebugs, each sling is one that we personally have used with our own children so you can be confident when purchasing your sling from Snugglebugs that you are purchasing a sling that is of high quality, ergonomically designed and will support you & your little baby.
It is really important that you are happy with your Snugglebugs purchases and we love to see people emailing us or popping into us during our open times to seek advice as to how to maximise the use of their sling.
